Konami's "complete MIX" includes a number of special features, or "Hidden Commands" which adds an extra incentive for players who want that extra challenge. Listed below are a selection of the "Hidden Commands" and how to play them.
Below is the control panel of "complete MIX". Each button and turntable corresponds to one of the numbers on the diagram below. Follow the instructions of each hidden command and enjoy!

Mirror Play Mode
(1) Hold down 1P buttons 1 and 4 and fully turn turntable clockwise
once.
(2) Hold down 1P buttons 2 and 5 and fully turn turntable clockwise
once.
(3) Hold down 1P button 4 and press START. Release from button 4 and
press button 2.

(1) During "STAGE SELECT", turn the records and press buttons 2-4-2
in quick succession while they are turning
(2) Next, turn the records again and press buttons 4-2-4 in quick succession
while they are turning.
(3) Later, when "hard house" , "hard techno" (Acid Bomb) or "euro
beat' are selected, "Another" version can be played.
The track "Another Version" remains the same as the
original, however the position of the falling notes is different. The
difficulty level is of the highest degree.
When "Random Play" is selected, the notes of each song fall down the screen in a completely random pattern. This allows for the playing of your favourite songs in a whole new way, making each game a new experience.
"Random Play" can be activated by pressing the following buttons in the following order, followed by the START button:
8-10-8-7-6-8-10-8-7-6-8-10-8-7
When "Mirror Play" is selected, the notes of each song fall down the screen in the mirrored reverse of the usual pattern. This gives a different feel to your favourite songs and produces a fresh approach to each game.
"Mirror Play" can be activated by pressing the following buttons in the following order, followed by the START button:
8-10-8-7-6-8-10-8-7-6-8-10-8-7-6
