OrangeRight is a nickname I got from a chatroom with some old friends. My real name is very similar to an abbreviation of orange juice, so someone said they were going to call me Orange Juice. Then, someone said "right" to an unrelated question. That became my name in that chatroom, and has become my name ever since. I could see people getting confused by that name, especially with today's political climate, so I'll just say my pronouns are he/him.
I have also went by Oran-G and Fly-Pow-Bye (the capitalization doesn't really matter). Oran-G is just a shortening of OrangeRight as a tribute to L.E.D.-G, and fly-pow-bye is named after a joke from one of the best episodes of The Powerpuff Girls. My main musical alias is the former, though I also used First Class/First Class Flight for my house songs, and a few other aliases.
What are my interests?
My main interest is video games, and I played them since I was a young child at my Grandfather's house, watching him playing Super Mario Bros. and Galaga. I do enjoy rhythm games, platformers, shmups, action games, fighting games, and racing games. I am open to other kinds of games, of course; I do enjoy playing the Dark Souls series of games and games like them, even if RPGs aren't really something I play often. Rhythm games are my forte, and have been my forte ever since I played Parappa The Rapper on a PlayStation demo disc. Dance Dance Revolution, Stepmania, beatmania IIDX, BMS, pop'n music, Guitar Hero, Rock Band, Taiko No Tatsujin, Voez, you name it, I probably played it. I also miss arcade-styled racing games, even if I can see people not seeing the value in them anymore. I attempted to get into game programming at one point, and I still intend on programming a full game eventually.
Outside of video games, I do enjoy all forms of animation, whether it be the cartoons from my childhood, current western cartoons, or anime. I was a Nickelodeon kid, though I got more into Cartoon Network in my later years. Specific favorites include The Powerpuff Girls, Hey Arnold, DuckTales (both the original and the 2017 reboot), and Gravity Falls. My favorite anime include JoJo's Bizarre Adventure, Soul Eater, Dragon Ball Z, and Azumanga Daioh.
I'm not really an avid comic book collector or anything, but I can say I've read Infinity Gauntlet before watching Infinity War and Endgame. That has to be worth something, right?
As for music, I mostly listen to EDM and rock, though every genre is good. Even country has Johnny Cash. I've gotten into music production somewhere in the mid 2000s, and I've been messing around ever since.
