TOURNAMENT REPORT
"Buffalo Bill's Battle of the DJs"
America's second ever "hiphopmania" tournament, "Buffalo Bill's Battle of the DJs", took place at Buffalo Bill's Resort & Casino in Primm, Nevada, USA on August 29th, 1999.
16 players entered in the tournament, which was held in the game arcade's adjacent food court, with half the players making their way over from California for the event.

The tournament format was the same as the "hiphopmania west coast challenge" held in Stanton, California in early August and the high level, competitive tournament got underway with the qualifying round to determine the seed placings of the 16 players. One format change was that the songs were selected by drawing them out of a hat, so players and organizers were not aware of the songs until just before each round!
"hiphopmania west coast challenge" champion, Shun Uchida of Nevada posted his second successive victory with Shawn Theriot also of Nevada taking out second place. David Ta placed third, with Derick Kim and Raul Gutirrez taking fourth and fifth places respectively.
