Not really an update, but I just wanted to see how YouTube videos load with my current CSS Zonelets. Here's a video of someone who knows rhythm games, namedropping DJMAX at the very least, reviewing Konami's godawful attempt to siphon the rock game bubble. Glad they didn't just say "this game has flat scrolling and bad covers, 2 I'd rather play Guitar Heros out of 5, this is the beginning of an era of lame Guitar Hero ripoffs, I'd rather play Bassoon Hero", actually highlighting the good covers and Steve Ouimette's great video on his experience working on the game.

I'm really glad YouTube (and SoundCloud, come to think of it) still has "embed" in their sharing options. Most people don't really deal with HTML in their lives as Geocities is gone and social media sites just want you to paste a link to a YouTube video. I've learned that my college doesn't even have an HTML class anymore; it really is becoming a lost art.
